Terms of service

These terms govern use of Tackshift's restaurant scheduling, local shift marketplace, training, timekeeping, and payment services. By using Tackshift, you agree to these terms and any role-specific or payment terms shown during onboarding.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information, protect your sign-in links and devices, and use only your own account. Restaurants are responsible for authorized locations and manager access. Workers are responsible for current roles, certifications, availability, and payout details. Tackshift may require identity, business, or work-eligibility checks.

Schedules and marketplace shifts

Restaurants control their schedules, shift requirements, selections, and workplace instructions. Workers should apply only when able and qualified to perform the shift. A transfer is not effective until the receiving worker accepts and the restaurant approves it. The original worker remains responsible until approval is complete.

Time, pay, fees, and disputes

Workers must submit accurate punches and restaurants must review actual time promptly. Estimated earnings may differ from approved time, tips, bonuses, taxes, or adjustments. Stripe processes payment and payout services under its own terms. Subscription and service fees are shown before purchase. Suspected payment errors should be reported promptly through Tackshift support.

Safety and acceptable use

Do not harass others, discriminate, misrepresent qualifications, manipulate punches or payments, scrape the service, share private information without permission, or use Tackshift unlawfully. Urgent safety issues should be directed to local emergency services first. Tackshift may investigate reports and restrict or suspend access.

Platform role and availability

Tackshift provides technology and payment coordination; it does not guarantee shift availability, staffing, earnings, worker performance, or uninterrupted service. Employment or contractor classification and related responsibilities are determined by applicable agreements and law. Each restaurant remains responsible for its workplace and legal obligations.
